The founders Liam & Lloyd, legendary Perth roasters independently, have been enticed by the taste buds of Australian coffee enthusiasts by putting their own special coffee.

With numerous award-winning coffees, you’ll be taken by the variety of cultivars that coffee can provide.

The new, larger and brighter roasting space right around the corner from the place the spot where it all started in the first place, you’ll find an area devoted to barista and coffee appreciation education, as well as commercial and domestic grinders and coffee machines A cool spot to chill and watch the magic of roasting occur…

Liam Valiukenas (Head Roaster/Founder – Australia and NZ) Liam Valiukenas (Head Roaster/Founder – Australia Liam the big bearded bloke, and avid coffee roaster who in the beginning conceived Kaltiva Coffee Roasting. Kaltiva Roasting Coffee Roasting business idea is in business since the time he left school.

The integrity of his business and traditional customer service has earned him several nominations for his nomination for the Australian 40 Under 40 Australian business awards.

The desire to roast coffee at a professional level began in the early part of 2015 when he started his ongoing training at the world’s an elite coffee roasting academy called Wolff College of Coffee (QLD) under Master Roaster Peter Wolff and various boutique small-scale master roasters in the world.

Since then, Liam has been pushing the boundaries of roasting coffee and coffee graders with the “think outside the box” method of working.

Liam works as an WA representative of Lelit and Profitec espresso machines and grinders (Universal Espresso Machines)

Lloyd Rainsford (Head Coffee Roaster/Founder Lloyd Rainsford (Head Roaster/Founder New Zealand) – Lloyd has been working in the industry of coffee for a number of years, and has gained his experience working at many of Perth’s most loved cafes and the most popular espresso bars. Being the owner of one of his cafes he’s got an excellent understanding of how cafes should be managed, run, and set up. He has assisted in increasing coffee turnover at cafes to over 50% and has developed procedures to help cafe owners keep this up year after year. Lloyd is a dedicated and experienced coffee roaster who is pushing himself to the limit more than many. He is constantly striving to improve his expertise and gain respect from fellow roasters in Australia and around the world.

Lloyd has been appointed Operations Manager for Operations New Zealand overseeing the expansion of Kaltiva Coffee Roasters & Cafe.

The two Lloyd & Liam are strong supporters of the industry of coffee, and you’ll find both of them at many coffee events across Australia or even experimenting until late at night, with incredible new coffees.
