The Boulder Hub

The Boulder Hub

The Boulder Hub has been in operation since November 2013. It was established with the aim of providing a safe and enjoyable environment for people to climb. It is a place where people can discover and exploit their superpowers, as well as a place where they can also uncover and work on their weaknesses to become better climbers, more confident, and have more fun.

They have 24 years of experience in climbing and know that there are no stereotypes.

They strive to make this sport accessible, inclusive, and fun for all ages and abilities.

This goal is also supported by their Management and staff. You can find out more about their history and experiences on their “our story” page.

Active Recovery Clinic

They are extremely proud to have Stephen Reynolds, the founder, chief therapist and chief owner of Active Recovery Clinic, and his team operating a small clinic in their facility. Active Recovery Clinic offers many services, including dry needling, massage, prescriptive exercise, and soft tissue therapy. They are able to recommend them highly, no matter your age, whether you’re looking for a way to heal old injuries or get rid of back pain.

They have you covered, no matter if you are a beginner or a veteran.

Their experienced route setters set over 100 boulders each month for novice climbers to intermediate and advanced climbers. This will provide a constant supply of challenging boulders for all levels. You can also do cardio, bodyweight training, and weight training in their studio.

Comfortable clothing that you can move in is important. You don’t need to rent climbing shoes if you don’t have your own pair. If you do not own climbing shoes, make sure to bring some trainers. You are prohibited from wearing dirty, muddy shoes, steel caps, flip flops or bare feet.

Each climber who arrives at their facility for the first time must complete a waiver form. Climbers under 18 years old will need to have their parent or legal guardian sign the consent section. The waiver is available online, via email or in person at The Boulder Hub. The first-timers will then be given a brief induction that focuses on safety and etiquette.

You’re now ready to climb!

You can also find a variety of chocolates, drinks and raw treats at the Hub. However, you’re welcome to bring/ Uber food to make the most of your time at The Hub. You can store food in the fridge or microwave, and you have a sink to wash up afterward.

They also offer great shower facilities for those who are going out after climbing!
